Like any other field, CTC varies with the location and the kind of job. In India the range varies from 25000 - 50000 INR per month. As compared to other countries India does not offer promising industry for naval architects. Even not a lot of colleges offer this course which makes the scope very now in India. In abroad depending on your field, it varies from 12 - 40 lakh INR per annum. Offshore field normally comes up with a hefty packages compared to the shipbuilding. But, nowadays due to oil price slide, there are very few offers in offshore field for freshers.
