    Scope is wide. Sociology as a career is not only a very enticing career but also many options. The career is diverse in terms of the specializations that one can choose from. Once you have completed your education there will be quite some opportunities.     Careers options after studying Sociology are research-oriented or more hands-on and range from jobs in a private practice to other sectors ranging from government organizations, schools and corporations to health care facilities and research institutions.
    Remuneration: -
    Salary of a qualified professional depends upon their qualification, job profile and experience. Those employed under government sector earn in a range of Rs. 8,000 to Rs.10,000 per month. Those who are working for NGOs also have similar pay structures.
    A higher salary can be expected for those who are working in industries and corporate houses.
