    In order to qualify for the course of Masters of Science at NSNIS (Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports), the selection criteria is As Follows: 

    Qualification: A candidate should be a graduate from any discipline from any recognised university in the country or outside the country. The candidate who have completed a Diploma in sports coaching NSNIS Patiala or any other centers of the institute with at least 60% marks. 

    Sport Skills: A special emphasis has to be put on availability for research work as well as expertise in sports.

    Graduate Degree from any recognised Indian/Foreign University with Diploma in Sports Coaching from SAI NS NIS, Patiala or its other academic Centers/ Diploma in Sports Coaching from any recognised University/Institute, /4 years (Eight Semester) B.Sc. (Sports Coaching) from any recognised University

    OR PG Diploma in Sports Coaching awarded from any recognised state sports University with minimum 55% marks

    1. Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline from any recognised institution.

    2. Candidate should have Completed a Diploma in Sports Coaching from SAI, NSNIS or any of its centers with a minimum cumulative score of 60% .

    3. Candidate should excel in sports.

    4. Candidate should have the ability for research.

    5. The age of Candidate should be less than 45 years at the time of course admission.
