The selection process for B.Sc programs and the minimum score requirement can vary depending on the university. Here's a breakdown for Bengaluru Central University (formerly known as Bengaluru Central University):

Selection Process: While the official information for the 2024 admissions cycle might not be available yet, Bengaluru Central University (BCU) generally follows a merit-based selection process for B.Sc programs. This means admission is offered to candidates with the highest scores in their qualifying exam (usually Class 12).

To enrol in BSc courses, students must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream, including PCB/M (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics). Admission to BSc degrees is typically based on Class 12 results, however some universities also accept CUET, ICAR AIEEA, MHT CET, KCET, and other test scores. Popular BSc colleges include BHU, JMI, DU, JNU, and VIT, among others. The minimum HSC scores necessary for admission to BSC programmes at Bengaluru Central University differ depending on the course chosen. However, the eligibility standards require a minimum score of approximately 45%.

For some courses like B.E and B.Arch, candidates need to qualify for entrance tests such as KCET conducted by KEA. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc courses at Bangalore University require candidates to have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

No, unfortunately those scores fall short of meeting the expected MHT CET RANK range (approx.2,000-3000) necessary for an SC candidate in Computer Engineering.

Marking done by Maharashtra Board is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.

Thus, students must not worry about the strict/lenient checking by the evaluators and focus on completing their syllabus and ensuring that their preparataion strategy is on point so that they do not have to worry about the checking.
