Candidates should have completed a B.Tech course from an institute recognised by the state of Karnataka with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying degree. However, reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5%
Candidates with valid GATE scores.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Eligibility for Government Seats :

A - Candidates should have studied and passed in one or more Government/ Government recognised educational institutes located in Karnataka for at least 7 years either periodically or continuously from Class 1 to qualifying exam.

B - Candidates should have studied and passed the qualifying exam within Karnataka from institute/ university recognized/ run by the state government.

C - Either parent of candidates must have studied in Government recognised institutions in Karnataka for at least 7 years.

D - Candidate or a parent of the candidate resided in Karnataka for a period of 7 years or more.
