    Salary depends on a lot of variables. Your internships, skills, communications, networking skills and many other factors. So it is better to focus on your skills than the package you want to get. No matter which field you are in, if you are good enough then you will get hefty amount of salary.

    The highest CTC of INR 18 LPA, average CTC of INR 10.57 LPA were offered during the placement drive. Oppo, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Wipro, IBM, TCS, NIIT etc. were the top recruiters. The starting salary is somewhat close to starting 13,000 to 18,000.

    According to Glassdoor, B.A. Economics Hons average salary is around INR 4.5 - 12 LPA. But the salary packages depend according to the company and the performance of the interview and experiences.

    Basically an economics graduate from any good college or university can get upto 3.5 to 4 Lacs annually in the initial stage as well as it can go upto 40 Lacs per year depends on your experiences as well as degrees and extra curricular certificates and courses (if you have done).
