The syllabus and exam pattern of UGC NET is a little bit difficult to understand. But I'll put it in simpler and shorter way.
There are 3 papers overall. You'll have to appear for these 3 papers in a single day at the same centre but at different time slots.
Paper 1 has 50 questions and candidate can attempt all those. The more the better. Paper is for teaching aptitude, but there are reasoning and other questions too. Basically, it tests your ability to work as a professor.
Paper 2 is 75 minutes long. The questions are from your opted subject. If you have completed your Masters in management then the Paper 2 and 3 will be about managemen

Hello, There are primarily 3 papers. Paper 3 is more challenging than Paper 2 in terms of difficulty. Again, the syllabus is extensive; you cannot complete it without a full year to prepare your study schedule. Be ready in advance. So far, just 6% of applicants are qualified to take the test. There are 3 papers mainly. The difficulty level in paper 3 is higher than Paper 2. Again, the syllabus is lengthy, you can't cover it all without 1-year time to work on your study plan. Be well prepared. Only 6% candidates are qualified for the exam so far.
