At LPU and almost all other engineering institutions, it is of 4 years (8 semesters). You may have to undergo some internships, real-time projects, final projects and dissertation, OJTs, etc. If you study from colleges or universities of high repute. JEE Mains, BITSAT VITEE and LPU NEST are some of the national level tests for the entry into this course.

In India, Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) is a prestigious and technical engineering degree programme offered to undergraduate applicants after four years of intensive research and practical experience in the field. Though you can complete it in three days through the lateral entry programme for Diploma holders.
