  • Dear Arushi,
Last year, the weightage was CAT - 85%, PI - 10% and Extempore - 5%. Changes to this, if any, will be communicated along with the interview shortlist.

    Hi Arushi,
I can tell you the pattern of last years weightages so that you can have an idea of what can happen this time as well. The overall percentile scored in CAT 2014 had the maximum weightage with 85% points to arrive at the final merit list. The score of CAT 2014 included the academic profile and other factors which were not taken into account at the time of first stage shortlisting criteria.PI was awarded a weightage of 10% in final admission round at FMS Delhi for admission 2015.A maximum weightage of 5% iwas awarded for Extempore speech at final admission round in FMS.

    Hello Aarushi,
The weightage that would be given to the CAT score is 85% and 15% for extempore and PI.
Also, with the changing pattern of CAT, FMS has slightly changed its criteria. But no need to worry, first stage shortlist will only be based on CAT. FMS Delhi will award the highest weightage of 40% to VARC section in its shortlisting criteria for MBA 2016-18 batch while the other 2 sections on Quant and DILR will have an equal weightage of 30%. In the final selection process, female candidates will be awarded 3% extra marks to promote gender diversity. All the best.
