Both LPU Punjab and VIT Vellore are good private universities and doing well. Based on my experience, I would recommend LPU as they provide good scholarships to all the students. I am also from a middle-class family and I got a good scholarship at LPU. LPU has been ranked again by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 on 23rd place amongst Top Universities in India (Both Government & Private)
LPU offers part-time job opportunities as well. I did a part-time job and managed my monthly expenses. You can work 20 hours per week and can earn 50100 INR per hour. I hope this helps
    Thanks!

Vit is better than LPU in all aspects but it depends on the fact whether the fee is affordable or not.
