What job opportunities can I get after doing MBA and B.Tech mechanical engineering?

Both degrees in two important fields one in technology and the other in Business. Both are equally important for the development of country. Both are very highly regarded in the society. Coming to your career, if you select MBA or B.Tech after your Bachelors, then your job opportunities are more than a student with just Bachelor’s degree. For that reason most of the students do their B.Tech or MBA after their Bachelors and some do for their pleasure. And, mainly doing Masters will also fetch for research work, research which is key for the development of the field can be done with Masters only. So selecting Master’s degree in Business or Technology depends on your interest. If you are very much attracted to business, then it will be good option for your career and also for your job prospectus. MBA jobs pay higher to you than B.Tech Jobs coming to salary issue, this is because of High risk in MBA.

Your question forces many assumptions. If you have pursued your Bachelor's degree, in not a good private college, and if you have chance to get some better college than now, then only you should go for that. If your current college is good enough for engineering, then you shouldn't leave it. Pursuing MBA from another good institute will be lethal, doubtless. You will have an option to choose terms in employment. If you have pursued your Bachelor's from an average institute, it is mandatory to pursue MBA from IIM to get a moderately good job. If you have pursued your Bachelor's from an average institute, and you are planning for MBA from a normal institute, you are wasting time. You will end up with a package of INR. 2 LPA. I guess, you do not need not make assumptions.

When you do MBA abroad you first understand the levels of MBA offered abroad universities. 1. For freshers without any experience fresh after completing Under graduation degree. Freshers MBA 2. With one or two year work experience after UG degree. Executive MBA 3. With minimum three years of managerial experience. AMBA MBA. I am sure you understand where you will fit in. Not because you have an MBA degree you can claim a job. It is not like India you study some thing and you work in some thing. Hence in your stream if you do Masters you will become more employable than by doing an MBA. If you do any specialisation in MBA, it will help you to enter into that industry.
