    Both degrees in two important fields one in technology and the other in Business. Both are equally important for the development of country. Both are very highly regarded in the society. Coming to your career, if you select MBA or B.Tech after your Bachelors, then your job opportunities are more than a student with just Bachelor's degree. For that reason most of the students do their B.Tech or MBA after their Bachelors and some do for their pleasure. And, mainly doing Masters will also fetch for research work, research which is key for the development of the field can be done with Masters only. So selecting Master's degree in Business

    Your question forces many assumptions. If you have pursued your Bachelor's degree, in not a good private college, and if you have chance to get some better college than now, then only you should go for that. If your current college is good enough for engineering, then you shouldn't leave it. Pursuing MBA from another good institute will be lethal, doubtless. You will have an option to choose terms in employment. If you have pursued your Bachelor's from an average institute, it is mandatory to pursue MBA from IIM to get a moderately good job.
