When it comes to wind engineering, USA is one of the top most countries, but getting a job itself is difficult in US. You can apply after gaining few years of experience. You should look for opportunities in Germany, Netherlands, France, Denmark and Spain to name a few.
The opportunities are diverse, you can land up in roles involving manufacturing, project development, testing, troubleshooting, R&D work which involves design and development of wind turbines, etc.
