    Hi,
There are few courses that you can pursue with a certificate course in radio jockeying for better career prospects, but to do a regular course while pursuing RJ won't be possible to opt for short-term courses that will enhance your skills to become an RJ. You can do a course in mimicry because if you can mimick and can add dramatization to your voice then it would be icing on the cake because being an RJ, people judge you or like or dislike you based on your voice and your dramatization so this can add a star to your radio jockeying course.
Also, you can do a course on improving your writing skill, I know being an RJ, you need to wr

Hi, As I am unable to judge your academic background, I would give you a generalized opinion on the basis of my experience and research.
If you are not a graduate:
B.Sc in mass communication and journalism will be an additional advantage to your overall profile if you pursue it with your Radio Jockey certification course. It will be the most relevant Bachelors degree which will suit your Radio Jockey profile overall.
    If you are a graduate:
Based on your graduation subject, you may opt for either MA or M.Sc in mass communication for additional benefits in your overall profile. It will help you to grab bigger opportunities with brand name

Radio Jockeying is a rising field and there are hundreds of Radio Stations by private media houses coming up in small cities all around India. Even abroad the scope is on the rise. I relate my answer more to the Indian landscape, As the query is about Parallel Studies with Certificate Course, consider the following:
    1. If the CC is done after doing graduation then a Post Graduation in Mass Comm/Mass Media/Media Production can also be done. I shall not hesitate to suggest even a Master Degree in A Language- English, Hindi or the one you see as your preferred medium of a Radio career.
    2. If one does this after 12th, pursue Graduation as

    Hi,
Mass communication is a vast field and having prior experiences can be among the best things you can achieve. If you are already done with the RJ certificate course, you can definitely do some Diploma course in RJ or a degree in mass communication which will increase your chances to gather the best of the job opportunities once you complete UG or PG. Companies these days are hiring on the basis of your experience and pay less heed to the degree/Diploma that you have completed.

You can always go for a degree or PG course (if you are a graduate already) in mass communication. Try and get into a fine college that offers placements as well because college with placements matters a lot. Also, you can even go for MBA in the same that will open a lot many doors for your career.
