The percentage required to be eligible for IIT exams/JEE Mains and Advance for class 12th is minimum 75%. This is done to lessen the number of candidates appearing for competitive exams because JEE has now planned to have an online test for which centers are less and candidates are huge in number.

You require to have good percentile in JEE Mains + advance paper above 95 percentile. Only minimum percentage of 75 is required for being eligible for IIT.

80% but you need to take your rank on a high level because IIT is the toughest exam of India. And you need to study hard as hard you can this not easy but not the impossible. So just try to get only in study side than you can crack it.

If it can affect your AIR then you should get as much as you can but if it is just for attempting JEE Advanced then 75 is enough.

Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.
