S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research is among the top B-School of the country located in Mumbai and also among the toughest to enter for MBA admission. You have to score 85% in CAT to qualify for the cut-off for admission. It offers PGDM in marketing, IB, HR etc. So if you are pursuing your MBA from SPJIMR then you are among the top few candidate who are their in the list of scholar. Don't worry your placement will be among the top companes across the world with package ranging from Rs 13 lakh minimum to about Rs 40 lakh per annum. More than 90% of the PGDM batch received offers of Rs 15 lakh or more, with a median salary of Rs 20 lakh. The placements season this year saw 104 companies on campus to hire the 229 students. This season saw regular recruiters like TAS, Deloitte, Accenture Strategy, Mahindra GMC, HUL, P&G, Microsoft, PwC-PRTM, Axis Bank, and JM Financial. The batch also received five international offers. The campus saw participation from 51 new companies including Goldman Sachs, Reckitt Benckiser, General Mills, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, GEP, Miebach Consulting, Samara Capital, Investec, DBS Bank, ICICI Prudential, MCX, Directi, HCL Infosystems, LinkedIn, SAP, DSP BlackRock, Samsung, Amway, Heinz, Siemens, Sony Music, Pernod Ricard, Texas Instruments among others. More than half of 2017 batch received pre-placement offers and pre-placement interviews through their autumn internships in top corporate houses, some of which included Amazon, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Colgate-Palmolive, GE, HUL, Mondelez, P&G, TAS, ITC among others. According to a placement report issued by the institute, 98% of the batch bagged salaries of Rs.14 lakh and more.
