A programme requires industrial exposure, LPU provides a lot of it ultimately making the student accustomed to every real life situations. 2. The curriculum it has for all the 200+ programmes offered- LPU makes sure that a student has complete knowledge of the programme making him/her placement ready. 3. The placement here is very good with majority of students getting placed whosoever sits in the placement drive. 4. LPU provides numerous opportunities for its students- if a student is good in any skill like singing, dancing, anchoring or any sports, LPU provides a platform for them to showcase their skill in-front of a larger audience. 4. The campus life is very good. With a huge 600 acre campus equipped with all the facilities you will definitely have a very good and memorable college life. 5. As per my knowledge,All the university are doing good in their own way. Rather than comparing, we should check the university which caters all round development of student. I would suggest you to check the following before finalizing the institute: 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements All the institutes are doing great in education but Being a alumni of LPU,I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: #LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. #Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. # Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. #LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. #The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculties. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students. #LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. #If you consider placements, LPU outperforms in that as well by assisting the student to get the highest package by making the student prepare for the placements. I tell you a girl named Tanya got placed in Microsoft at 42 LPA and many more students got hefty packages which I doubt students have cracked at the other mentioned institute. Hi Sameeksha, Being a student of LPU, I can share the environment inside the University in terms of studies and other related things. First of all talking about the curriculum, LPU provides industry oriented curriculum with more emphasize on practical exposure. This not only make students understand how the industry works but also help organisations train students for their needs. At LPU, we have industry-sponsored labs from Google, Oracle, SAP where we work on real life projects. This industry experience make cracking job interviews much easier. Another very important aspect of this is Faculty. Teachers and staff is really supportive here. Even personal mentors will also be allotted to each student, if student is facing any difficulty in studies they can share it with their personal mentors. LPU is having faculty from IIT, IIIT, Ph.D. and foreign. Department Elective, Language Elective, Pathway Elective, Open Minor and Training Electives are also included in the curriculum. Elective courses from within the discipline, gives more depth or breadth to a student's core competencies. Open minors - A set of four elective courses in an unrelated area to develop additional skills enhancing employment opportunities. Pathway Electives allow students to develop specific credentials and value package for a chosen career. Everything you need for better future and success has already been written. And guess what? All you have to do is go to the library LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches.
