Each and everything about LPU is unique. LPU is one of the biggest and best private universities In the country. LPU is Ranked among the "Top Six Promising Universities of The Country" by India Today. Plus it is Ranked Among the Top Universities of India in Over 20 Prestigious Researches & Rankings. Moreover, LPU is the first private University in India that is ICAR accredited by ICAR. Also, LPU is the first private university to host honorable prime minister Narendra Modi during the Indian Science congress. And The previous honorable Mr. Pranab Mukherjee chaired the 8th Convocation of LPU is the only university in all of Punjab that runs on an electricity hotline, averaging 126 Kilowatts of electricity per day. The amazing thing about LPU is that when I was living in a hostel I never witnessed Power cuts because power cuts at Lovely do not last more than five seconds, which means that they have incredible generator backup systems. The campus has the largest residential capacity, having a shopping mall, Gym, Hospital, Indoor Stadium, well-equipped labs, and a central library.
