Your rank should preferably fall within the closing rank range indicated for the relevant programme and category in order to be admitted to the Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) for B.Tech programmes through the WBJEE. The table you gave for the WBJEE Round 2 in 2022 lists the final rankings for each programme and category.

For instance, according to the cutoff data from the previous year, if you are a home state applicant applying for the Computer Science & Engineering programme with a tuition fee waiver, your rank should fall between 11824 (opening rank) and 16065 (close rank).

Please be aware that the cutoff ranks

The rank required to get into Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) depends on the course you want to apply for and the category you belong to. For example, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in FIEM for the general category in 2023 was 226,372. However, the closing rank for the same course in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category was 19,688.

The closing ranks are subject to change every year. The actual closing ranks for 2023 will be announced after the WBJEE exam is conducted.

Similarly, in the All India Open category, Computer Science & Engineering requires a rank between 1527 and 34464. To secure a seat in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) under All India Open, a rank within 19175 to 80097 is needed. Rankings fluctuate by program, quota, and category, reflecting the institution's diverse admission criteria.
