What's the pattern of LPU-NEST? How can I clear this?

Dear Shaniya. Being alumni of LPU, I would share the LPU NEST paper pattern for B.Com. (Hons. ). I have also given LPU NEST while I took admission to the LPU. The duration of the test is 90 minutes (1:30 hr. ). And it consists of objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). English Physics Chemistry Mathematics Biology Accountancy Business Studies Economics Computer Science History Sociology Psychology Geography Agriculture Physical Education Political Science Public Administration General Aptitude General Awareness English is Compulsory and the applicant can opt for any two of the remaining Subjects. The test conducted for scholarship and admission to various programs at LPU is called LPU NEST. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. Don't be scared, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification? In addition to it, there are questions about reasoning, verbal ability, and analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. The application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. All the information about LPU NEST such as the syllabus, previous year's question papers, and sample papers is given on the LPU NEST website. LPU NEST is an entrance and Scholarship Exam for some programmes it is mandatory to qualify and for rest it is considered for scholarship purpose only. As a student of MBA in LPU, at the time admission I have given LPU NEST and interview which was mandatory to qualify. Talking about the cutoff of LPU NEST it varies with programme to programme. Also, it depends upon various factors like the number of applicants, their performance, difficulty level of exam and many more so exact cutoff is given after the exam only at the time of result.

LPU NEST is conducted by the LPU as an entrance exam in various disciplines, The pattern is MCQ type question with no negative marking. LPU NEST is a national level exam for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This LPU NEST test forms the basis of eligibility for some programmes and also for the scholarship programmes. But due to pandemic situation of COVID19, LPU NEST is postponed. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions, direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. University has taken an initiate stating that they have relaxed their eligibility criteria for most of the programs. LPU NEST is not compulsory for most of the programs and is a scholarship test. In addition to that, candidates can manage time, speed and accuracy. Moreover, preparing according to the LPU NEST last year question papers, postulants will get a prior experience of the LPU NEST exam. Moreover, the LPU NEST solved papers have been designed for the applicants to prepare more efficiently for the entrance exam. The questions that are included in the solved papers are last year exam questions. So that aspirants can use them to practice for LPU NEST Exam.

LPU NEST is an LPU entrance exam that is conducted in various different courses for admission and scholarship purposes. The pattern is MCQ type, and you need to get 30-40% or more for hons programmes. It is online mode test, considering the pandemic situation LPU had conducted the test online, students appeared for the exam from their home though the online portal.

Class 11th and Class 12th syllabus are included in this exam, and you can easily crack it by practising previous year question.

LPU-NEST is just an online screening test the difficulty level of exam is very average and the questions asked in the examination is very basic. If one holds command in his/her subject with basic knowledge and details he /she can easily qualify NEST. To get admission in LPU, you need to get minimum 40% in the test. Pattern:- total number of questions :-70 English: - 30 question elementary levelSubject of your Domain of interest: - 40 questions Each right answer to the question you will get +1 marks and there is no negative marking. Therefore, I would suggest you to answer and attempt the complete question paper.

The syllabus include 10+2 syllabus i.e. Intermediate syllabus. Yes, there are many books for BITSAT VITEEE etc. You should refer that books.
