What should I do after B.Sc biotechnology? Are there any other options than IIT JAM?

Hi Pallavi, Biotechnology has huge. Scope career, even beyond your imagination. You will have lots of opportunities in biotechnology field. As biotech. Is a multidisciplinary and job orientation course. And first of all Biotech is not a subject like zoology, botany are. These are the classical branch of biological Science but In biotechnology you will get lots of golden opportunities to see the Science in completely different views and at a different level of thoughts. So never doubt in it. So there are lots of career opportunities in biotechnology after completing Bechlor degree. I. If you want to job just after B.Sc. You are welcomed. There are lots of private industrial, biotech. Companies who offers jobs just after your graduation. Sometimes companies come to the colleges and hire the students as per their term and conditions. Sometime you may apply directly. And the best thing is that, lots of companies would take responsibilities for completing your higher studies. And all the wages will be paid by your company. But the only thing is that the starting payment will be little bit less as you are going to join as a fresher. As per your working experiences your payment will rise. There are some biotech companies where you may apply. Biocon, IFGL Bioceramics Limited, Orbees medical, Invitrogen, Glaxosmithkline, Reliance life sciences, CTS life sciences, Dr. Reddys labs, Cipla, Jubilant life sciences, Wockhardt, Torrent pharma, Cadila healthcare and Ranbaxy, wipro, Tcs, Vedanta etc. II. If you want to pursue in research field. You may go for integrated M.Sc-PhD. You will get many opportunities to pursue in research field in your desired branch.
