What should I do as I want to become general manager in any travel company?

<p dir="ltr">Heya!&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">If you dream to become a General Manager in any travel company, you need to plan from now onwards. If you would ask me for advice, then I would suggest you to first choose a good courses because there are many courses like BSc Travel and Tourism Management, BBA Tourism &amp; Event Management, Bachelor of Tourism Studies, or MBA in Tourism and Hospitality.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">Secondly, you should select a good university, there are many universities that offers tourism such as Chandigarh University, LPU, Chitkara, etc.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">But if you ask me, I would suggest you B.Sc. Travel &amp; Tourism Management from CU. Trust me, the course is one of the best in India. They really teach everything from scratch, they start from basics and make students ready for each and every role. They make students ready for hotels, airports, travel companies, restaurants, airlines and all.</p><p dir="ltr">The department also got the best teachers, all trained from international level. They teach students with both theory and practical learning.&nbsp; The faculty is really awesome, they aren't just teachers but mentors who guide you through everything, whether it's preparing for interviews or choosing the right career path.</p><p dir="ltr">You can learn specializations like Travel Trade, Alternate Tourism, Service Marketing, and Tourism Business. You will also work in labs like Tourism Lab and Hospitality Lab, and get trained in soft skills, grooming, and communication which are very important for leadership roles like General Manager.</p>

GM position comes with experience, entrepreneurship and with management degrees, so look out for management degrees.
