6 years agoFirst, complete UG and then prepare thoroughly for subjects like Quant and Reasoning to qualify CAT, with CAT score, you can get admission in IIM. -
Concept Building
Make sure that you have the understanding of all the basic concepts of the topics included in CAT. You should try to connect different topics and then work to simplify the connections using lateral thinking and common sense. You can refer the material to get an idea of the understanding required. To start preparation for MBA, firstly you need to complete your graduation with a minimum of 50%. Then you need to prepare for CAT and score above 98 percentile to get a call from Iims.

Firstly, complete your graduation with minimum 50 percent marks. After that, you can appear for CAT exam. Secondly, you can start your preparation of CAT in the third year of your graduation, and from now onwards start focusing on your mathematics, and english because in CAT exam the level of english and mathematics is very high. So you have to work hard for qualifying CAT with good percentile.

You can go through it and if you don't want to join coaching, then there is an option for online study you can get so many websites and videos, which are helpful for preparation, but remember one thing practice is very important so always go for mock tests, which is very helpful in your preparation.

CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a valid score in any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, XAT or CMAT can also get admission in PGDM.
