What should I do? I want to do B.Tech in CSE and I am getting CSE in VIT, Vellore but I want to pursue it from BITS.

But I know that I will not be able to clear the cut-off of BITSAT for CSE. I studied in Birla Public School and it has a reservation for top 5 students in its B.Sc course. What should I opt for?

You are seeking admission in computer Science and engineering branch, then I would like to say if you can't clear BITSAT then take admission in VIT. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else.

VIT has a good name among the private institutions of our country. So, it is good to pursue CSE from there. And if you want to pursue CSE from BITS, then you need to score very well in BITSAT exam and for that, you have to work hard. You can check last year's cut-offs of BITS on their site. And if you think you can score that much marks in BITSAT, then you can take a big risk and leave the VIT. It all depends upon your score and knowledge. From my point of view, the general descending order preference of colleges is this:
*IITs. (Your score in JEE Advanced)
    *BITS (350+ in BITSAT)
*NITs (Your score in JEE MAIN)
    *VIT.

CSE in Vellore is also good. You will get placed with a good salary if you perform well in your academics.
    All the best.

Go according to your interests and take the branch of your choice. If you are not at all interested, then go for a drop and prepare well.

See, if you are getting the VIT for the CSE then hold that option plus try in BITS also. In that, you might get CSE in the second round of the counselling. But hold onto the VIT option.

If you are eligible for the B.Sc course, then go for it. CSE in BITS is very difficult to get and if you think you can do it and just need some time to sort things out then you can study for a year and retake your BITSAT examination, but I would say the easier and safer alternative is going for CSE in VIT.
A lot of students opt for VIT so you can definitely consider it and if you study sincerely in VIT, then you can reach your goals easily.
