To become a software engineer, you need to pursue Diploma in software engineering after class 10th and then pursue Bachelors in software engineering to enhance your knowledge. Or you can also pursue BCA after completing PUC and become a software engineer.
    Good luck.

If you want to pursue Software Engineering after class 10th, you can either take admission in Diploma in Software Engineering on the basis of your percentage in class 10th. And then, after completing 3-year Diploma, you can get Lateral Entry into Second Year in B.Tech/BE or you can study class 11th and 12th (Science) with PCM as a compulsory subject and then take admission in B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or Software Engineering based on your rank and score in Engineering Entrance Exams and 12th Standard Percentage. Good Luck.

Simply search all the options in software engineering first. After class 10th there are courses like Diplomas or short duration courses where you get to know about the basics well. During diploma, you will realize whether you should do software engineering or not. Then take your decision of pursuing higher education in software engineering.
