Hy Rishav, the piece of advice is to choose job, have work experience and then do MBA. It would be best for you in many ways:
1) Companies prefer experience
2) It would easy to connect the theoretical aspects that you'll learn in college since you had already worked in corporate
3) You can make more networks with alumni and this will give you extra edge. Hope this help! -
It solely depends on your interest. If you love your field then prosper towards it. Don't follow any trend that nowdays is happening. Majority of students after doing B.Tech think of MBA. Some have interest in managing field while some just follow trend. Don't follow the trend. Follow your passion. Take a deap breath and think. For which field I am passionate about.

Since you are going to start engineering next year, you should try your hand at both the field. Join the Technical team of your college or join the Student Council which will give you some managerial experience. Try and give 100% when you take either of the opportunities. Do not prematurely rule that you are good or bad at either of them before experiencing it. If you do this then at most by the end of 3rd year you will know what you want to do. If you want to stay in technical field or move away from it. This has helped me personally. It's a lot better than asking people what should I do.

5 years agoIt is your choice. You can do MBA and go for management and secondly prepare for GATE and take any IIT and do M.Tech in many subjects. -
Do not compromise on choosing an MBA college - aim for Top institutes. Try attempting CAT or XAT at the end of 4th year, if you crack it. Well and good, go for it. Or
Join a core company, understand the corporate world, improve your technical skills and team skills and gain some quality experience
If you start gaining interest towards technical side - go for M.Tech and grow in your field - MBA is one degree which can be done at any point of time irrespective of your age or experience. If you really want a management degree flashing on your resume and want to grow your career in the management side, you can go for an executive MBA from to...more -

It purely depends on you. Having a job in your field will gain experience and
knowledge about the respective field. And once after gaining experience you can go for MBA that will become more substantial than going and joining MBA as a fresher. Thus according to me I would suggest you to join the job in your respective field. -
Well it is pretty clear that for doing MBA it is always preferred to get industry experience for at least 3 years and then you can then go for MBA to start your own business or either hike in your job. Depends on what option do you choose for. I'ld suggest to get a good job in the same and then pursue MBA.

You should do MBA after your B.Tech, you can go with MBA in Operation or go Online Certificate course in Six Sigma Green Belt. You should go with MBA from distance learning university so that you can work along with your studies and get rich experience.

If you get a renowned college for MBA like IIM then you should surely go for MBA but from other MBA colleges comparison you should take the job in my opinion. Because the placement record of other college may not be 100% and they might have a lower package.

If you are interested in management work then you must opt for MBA.
