After the declaration of the result, students whose name is shortlisted need to apply individually in the colleges which accepts this score.
Each Subject Board, and each Center offering a particular programme in that Subject, has its own criteria for shortlisting. These may include not only the written test marks, but may take into account past academic performance, write-up submitted (if required in your subject), and recommendation letters at the appropriate stage.
Hence applicants are advised to apply in as many institutes as they can to increase their chances of getting admission.

Only those who submit the application form are eligible to download the TIFR GS Admit card to appear for the exam.
