Depending on their desired intake and program, international students can begin applying to the University of Luxembourg. There are normally two primary intakes at the university: one for the summer semester (beginning in February) and one for the winter semester (beginning in September). Depending on the school, winter semester applications often open in February or March and close in April or June. Applications typically open in September and close in November or December for the summer session. Deadlines, however, could differ for particular programs, particularly for courses with limited enrolment or competition.

International students can submit their applications online to the University of Luxembourg through the university's official application portal. While applying, students must be mindful of the important dates and submit all the supporting documents.
