The Assam NEET 2024 counselling process began on August 21, 2024, a week after the commencement of the counselling for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam announced the schedule for the Assam NEET UG counselling 2024 for the first three rounds. The Round 1 of Assam NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 21 to September 5, 2024. The second round started on September 11, but was stalled midway.
