When should I start preparing for CAT exam, while pursuing B.Com or after completing B.Com?

You need at least a year to prepare for CAT. You need to decide accordingly that how and when can you spare that much time.

You can prepare for MBA entrance exams, while pursuing or after your graduation. If you can handle your college studies/ exams and CAT simultaneously well, then you can give CAT during your final year. If not, you should take a gap.

You can start preparing for CAT exam now. You can do self-study, and later you can take coaching. You can solve previous year question papers. All the best.
