    The National Institute of Design (NID) declared the NID DAT 2024 seat allotment of M.Des programme for Round 2 on June 4, 2024. The link to download the seat allotment is given below. Log-in to the portal using your email id and date of birth. Candidates who are allotted seats have to confirm their seats, pay the non-refundable fees, and upload documents by June 10, 2024 (midnight). Earlier, NID DAT 2024 seat allotment (Round I) for the B.Des programme was declared on May 29, 2024. The campus preference submission window was open from May 21 (4 pm) till May 23, 2024 (4 pm).The token seat confirmation fee is

    The NID DAT counselling process starts on April 30. The process will continue till 14 May 2024. The dates are assigned for MDes Course. The students who seek admission in BDes will have counselling on 29-31 May 2024. The counselling will be in offline process. The students are requested to be present at NID Ahmedabad. The authorities have released detailed notification regarding the counselling process.

  • The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the counseling process for the M.Des program from April 2025. Candidates were shortlisted for counseling based on their merit ranks in NID DAT 2025.

    Note that unlike B.Des candidates, M.Des candidates aren't required to submit campus preferences. 

    NID may conduct multiple rounds of seat allotment depending on the number of available seats. 

    After allotment of seats, the candidate has to upload relevant documents and pay the 1st semester fee to confirm their seats.
