When I was looking at top B-schools other than IIMs, I had one thing in mind — which B-school will actually help me to grow and get a good job?
After spending two years at PIBM as an MBA student in marketing, I can confidently say I made the right decision.
Faculty & Learning
To be honest, PIBM's faculty isn't just guiding you through academic exposure, but they will help you in the real business world by sharing practical knowledge. We had regular sessions with actual corporate leaders, which gave us the kind of industry insights you won't find in textbooks. Compared to other colleges, learning at PIBM is practical and industry-focused.
Campus Placements
Placement-wise at PIBM, we got industry-oriented training from day one – mock interviews, GDs, aptitude prep – through companies' leaders like Deloitte, PwC, HDFC, ITC, and more, which visited the campus during my PG programme in MBA. While other colleges do have placements and other guidance, I can say PIBM gives you an extra push to become a sustainable corporate professional who can stand out in a challenging business environment.
Experience
The vibe on campus, the student committees & clubs, and the amount of real business exposure we got – honestly, it made my MBA journey and learning fun and meaningful. Compared to other colleges, PIBM definitely will make you more driven and focused in terms of building a successful corporate career.
So if you're serious about building a career along with gaining practical knowledge and an industry-recognized MBA or PGDM degree, I will suggest PIBM is definitely worth considering. It worked out for me, and I would recommend it further to anyone who wants real growth that goes beyond classroom learning.
