Many good colleges are there in WB like JADHAVPUR UNIVERSITY , IEM , TECHNO INDIA , HERITAGE , BP PODDAR ,etc but IEM is too good and it is having a school like discipline and education , no ragging or teaching system is very good

Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) is the best college in Kolkata for Engineering. It's probably the best private engineering college under MAKAUT. It has got a very good placement records. The faculty members of the colleges are very good. They are highly qualified. The labs are very good.
The college has a very big library with a huge amount of books. All kinds of useful books are available in the library. The most impressive part of the college is placement. Over the years the placement is excellent almost all the student are placed in good companies. It is the best college of West Bengal to study engineering.
