Make sure you have read every single line of the textbooks for at least 3 times if you are serious about the exam. But this is not enough. You have to practice many application based questions for the exam. Use test series and question banks of reputed coaching institutes. Main factor in CET is also time management. So once you are done with your syllabus thoroughly have at least 20 full mock tests under exam conditions.
I would suggest timed practice from start as such. I won't say there are any specific

Most of the engineering entrance exams except JEE Advanced are based simply on JEE Mains pattern of questions and syllabus.
MHCET syllabus though is very tough and lengthy when compared to entrance exams of private universities and even BITS.
The topics in the syllabus require thorough study and lots of practice as the paper is very time-consuming.
The most important topics in chemistry are chemical bonding, s, p, d, f blocks, alkane, alkene, alkyne, ionic and chemical equilibrium, atomic structure, mole concept, thermodynamics and periodic properties.
For physics, heat and thermo, resistive and capacitive circuits, electro magnetic induc
