Aspirants can refer to the following books to prepare for PUBDET -

    • Class 11 and 12 course books
    • Wren and Martin for Grammar
    • A Glossary of Literary Term by M.H. Abrams

It is also advised that the students use older PUBDET question papers for practice. Those make the best prep material. Students get an idea of the difficulty level and the types of the questions asked by doing so.

If you used Resnick-Halliday-Walker or Sears-Zemansky for IIT preparation, review the theoretical chapter. Otherwise, any ordinary Plus Two textbook will suffice. However, familiarity with the two masterpieces I listed earlier will benefit you once your course begins. For issues, H. C. Verma is more than adequate.

  • Reference books for the PUBDET:

Study the theory portion from Resnick-Halliday-Walker/ Sears-Zemansky, if you have used them for your IIT preparation. Else, any standard textbook for Plus Two would suffice. However, familiarity with the two classics I just mentioned would help you once your course commences. For problems, H. C. Verma is more than sufficient. Regards.
