    Direction is the most coveted seat at FTII, followed by acting. Compared to the other streams, the ratio of competition is 67 times higher.
    If you aspire to become a director, you gotta have a taste for music, sound design, cinematography, editing, acting, art direction, story boarding, screenplay and should intensely feel for them. Direction is like conducting an orchestra or captaining a ship. You do not have to do anything individually. But you must exert great command. And above all, you must be willing to learn these departments and be obsessed with some of them. Hope you are ready!
