Which books should I refer to get the best result in IPU CET B.Tech? Which are the most important topics to be focused?

These are some, I would suggest: For Physics- NCERT Physics textbook-Part I & II, H. C. Verma Concepts of physics (Part I & II) [Especially for problems]. For Chemistry- Inorganic-NCERT Chemistry book Part I & IIOrganic-NCERT Chemistry book (Part I & II) & O. P. Tandon. Physical-NCERT Chemistry book Part I & P. Bahadur. For Maths- NCERT Mathematics-Part I &II, R. D. Sharma. You can download free pdf version of the books (wherever applicable) from the internet. If you are from a school/college that is not affiliated with CBSE, I would suggest you go for the NCERT books first in all the three categories, and then move on to the other books. Important topics: Chemistry: Thermodynamic, equilibrium, electrochemistry, S P D F block, Coordination compounds (isomerism), Chemical bonding and GOC. Physics: Collision Solid/liquid/Gaseous states, Gravitation, Electrostats, Ray and wave optics. Dual nature and semiconductors (Graphs) Modern Physics, Rotation Motion, Sound Waves, Magnetic Effect of current Maths:- Tangent & Normal, Matrices and Determinants, vectors, 3D Geometry, limits & Continuity, application of derivatives, integration, circle, parabola, ellipse, Arithmetic progression, Straight line.
