This is really a challenging task so if someone who is really talented in the subject then only he or she get such rank. Books alone are not responsible for getting such rank there are a lot of other facts which really matter such as best faculty, best environment and preparing for the exam since standard 8th.

Inorganic Chemistry: The type of questions asked in competitive exams under this part of Chemistry will directly be based on the reactions given in the standard textbook. Chapters like s-block, p-block and d-block elements come under this category. Do the exercise questions given at the end of the chapter first.
