Based on the JOSAA 2022 closing ranks, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) consistently has lower closing ranks compared to other branches, indicating higher competition for admission. It is a highly sought-after branch due to its demand in the job market and diverse career opportunities in areas such as Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. However, it's important to note that closing ranks can vary each year, and the popularity of a branch can fluctuate.
