Raju don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail

It might seem odd to draw a comparison between computer scientists and mechanical engineers. What could these professionals possibly have in common? A lot, it seems. When one considers it, both fields design, develop, and test tools that make our lives and work easier one just happens to do it in the digital realm and the other in the physical one.
From their mathematical and scientific roots to the tools that make their work possible, mechanical engineers and computer scientists share a lot of common ground, even if their specializations diverge. For example, mechanical engineers may find themselves researching nanotechnology, robotic

They're both Science-oriented jobs, but that's about all mechanical engineering and computer programming have in common as far as job description. Mechanical engineers design new devices or materials for countless uses in areas ranging from medicine to aerospace. They might draw up plans for a new hip-replacement joint, build satellites or create wind turbines or solar panels. Programmers, on the other hand, write detailed instructions in electronic languages or codes to help computers complete operations. After they write code, programmers test their work. They also maintain existing programs. Good luck. Thank you.

    Hi,
    How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
    So, choose a suitable branch.
    Go for it.
    Thank you and keep asking!

Raju, both the branches are good and in demand. But it also depends upon your interest and inclination that what you go for. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then of course CS is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Mech.is very good options These days Mech.students are also getting good offers.
Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. These days we have many good government as well as private universities like IITs, IITTs, NITs, LPU, SRM, etc offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of them offer admission just o
