    Hello,
B.Tech in CS or ECE is a good option as per today's requirement and there are good placements in industry. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with the degree. They don't just take degree holders. So, do extra courses and job will be in your hand.

Mechanical Engineering is called an evergreen branch considering its placement potentials. Streams in demand include Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering and so on. Besides, there are new generation streams such as Information Technology, Avionics, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Robotics and so on. Considering the trends in the growth of the industry, electronics and computer science streams are predicted to have good prospects in future.
    Let's hope for the best.

Dear Sayan, Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer S

Well that depends on your interest and knowledge in the particular field. In the current scenario the maximum number of students are opting for Computer Science branch but I believe if you are more interested in the auto industry then you should go for mechanical engineering. Here in my opinion, Lovely professional university is the one which is offering best in both the streams. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It is a UGC-approved university which has been ranked well by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices, etc. The university provides ample o

Among your specific choices between CSE, Civil, Mechanical in my opinion best one is CSE only. My own brother last year passed out from LPU from CSE branch and now working in Wipro MNC with good package and fully satisfied with his placements so accordingly I can tell you. LPU CSE branch is much in demand and have shown a unbreable placement records. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, ea
