With better and broader subjects, Mechanical engineering offers better scope than civil engineering. Civil engineering primarily targets a field whereas Mechanical engineering can be further divided into a variety of fields. Civil engineering primarily targets a field whereas Mechanical engineering can be further divided into a variety of fields. This makes it a better choice for the students who are looking for higher studies in the desired direction. The future has scope for all branches of engineering but not just a general knowledge of that branch, but good skills and complete knowledge of how to utilize the basic fundamentals of that engineering branch for complete utility at your work place.

I agree with Kishan Singh Rathod as in India, the infrastructure is growing up rapidly. So, I would suggest you to opt for civil engineering than mechanical.

Both the branches have same value. Mechanical may give little more salary than civil. But, if consider the growing infrastructure industry of our country, civil gives you 99% assurance of job.
You just mentioned that you are good in physics, so one more branch I would like to suggest you is electronics, which is good if you are very passionate in physics.

Mechanical is the best branch. It is a combination of various branches such as automobile, and mechatronics.

I suggest you to choose automobile engineering because it is really a different field from other branch and of course there is a lot of scope in automobile sector in today's world.

See, Every branch has its own scope. It depends on what you can do. Mechanical field deals with motors and civil deals with building, designing and construction. So, if you are good in physics, you can go for mechanical. If you like motors and their structure, and if you are good in drawing, you can go for civil. Remember, all the fields hold its own position.

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.

Quantum University is good for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, especially if you want practical learning along with theory. From a student point of view, I feel the mechanical department is strong and the teachers are supportive.

The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.

The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,
