Both LPU and NIT are good to pursue CSE programme but as my personal opinion, I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech from LPU. 1. Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. Dear Adarsh, Both NIT and LPU are good. If I talk about the private institute then LPU is the best private university in India for higher education. My friend did B.Tech in CSE from LPU and got placed in an MNC named BOSCH with a good salary package. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. LPU has 50th National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 in Engineering Institutes of India and has 9th rank in Computer Science Subject in India by Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2024. Also, LPU has National Board of Accreditation (NBA). LPU has World Class Computing Labs such as GOOGLE LAB, IMAC LAB, CISCO LAB, NEXT-GEN LAB, BOT LAB and more. HackerEarth, a global competitive programming platform, has ranked LPU as the 3rd institution in the country in terms of the Most Technologically Advanced Crowd.</p><p>LPU is offering many specializations in CSE under different programmes such as Hons.
