Manipal Institute of Technology is far better than SRM in all aspects. SRM has copied several things from Manipal Institute of Technology like Semester Abroad programme and so on. Quality of students of MIT Manipal is also much better than SRM University. Here admission is totally based on merit no matter who you are. It is in top 50 ranks by National Institution ranking framework among the Indian Engineering colleges.
Manipal has better placements for the CSE department and almost 92 percent overall placements.
Manipal has gained the respect of students through its performance throughout the years.
On the other hand, I think SRM is all about advertising. They just want to make profits.
