Which college is better for B.Tech in CSE: Sharda University or Lovely Professional University?

After 12th, when one of us fails to get into IIT's or our desired NIT's we feel like life is over and now all doors of success are closed but the thought of big private university still rings and a hope of exotic life again rises. After BITS, VIT, SRM, Manipal, LPU and Amity University is taken into consideration by an individual to pursue their career for the betterment of future. When it comes to LPU vs Sharda University, LPU leads. Both the universities share a common culture of being private but the entrance system is more selective in LPU than Sharda. Hence, a more talented and creative pool of minds can be found in the LPU campus. When it comes to infrastructure, both universities are newly built and have a modernized infrastructure but LPU has a far better management and staff than Sharda University. So, if the confusion is between Sharda and LPU, blindly go with LPU and trust me that you will never regret this decision.

LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. I believe that you should visit LPU campus or you can contact from the website.

Firstly, if I had to choose, I would choose LPU because they have good environment for students, best infrastructure, good quality and amount of teachers. Also, many reputed companies visit the campus for placements.

For B.Tech in CSE I would put Lovely professional University on the top.The infrastructure of this university is excellent.The number of companies visiting the campus is more in LPU than Sharda University.Lovely Professional University has been ranked among the best private universities in North India.CSE department there is best.You will get a lot of opportunities there.You can check the rankings as well.Location wise Sharda University is good.LPU will beat SU in every department. LPU has a huge campus of around 600 acres with world class infrastructure.After signing MoU with Tech Mahindra the department has increased its value.Placement is more than 90 percent for students having CGPA over 6.5. Average package offered was Rs 3.4 to Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum for computer science engineering graduates.Last year more than 650 students hired by Cognizant and Tech Mahindra hired 250 faculties are also very good there. In short LPU CSE is far better than Sharda University CSE.

The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Hi, LPU is the best. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cyber security, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms.
