Definitely, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. They have 93% placement records as per 2017 stats. They also have some of the most reputed names in the industry as their recruitment partners like Samsung, reliance, Whirlpool, HCL, Deloitte, L & T etc. There, the highest salary package was INR 32+ L in 2017, could be a number or two up than this. If you are looking for best career prospects, TIET is a place to be chosen. Their admissions are going on, you might want to check their website www.thapar.edu.

Both are good. Thapar University takes admission through JEE Mains and takes only good students who have scored good marks in JEE Mains. BITS Pilani also takes admission through BITSAT whose question level is also equal to JEE Mains.
In terms of ranking, BITS Pilani ranked 2nd among all private colleges and Thapar comes under top 10, so BITS Pilani is better.
