Which college is better, LPU or NDIM?

LPU (Lovely Professional University) and NDIM (New Delhi Institute of Management) are the best Private and Semi-Private institutes respectively in the education sector in India. Talking about the institute information, being alumni of LPU, I would love to share a few about the LPU with you. Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab is a multi-faculty institution offering 145+ programmes in various fields such as engineering. Pharmacy, law, architecture, fine arts, management, etc. In Regular and ODL mode, in a state-of-the-art hi-tech campus, that spreads across 600 acres of land. You can get a degree from a Diploma to a doctoral level. In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 64 LPA. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. Research Achievement: 1. Stanford University ranks 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world 2. NDIM is a good university. Let's not compare. Every university is good. However, being an LPU faculty I would like to tell you about LPU. The campus of 600+ acres - That's really not an interest to a student. What'll she/he be doing of such a vast area. You'll only be having a particular block for your academics. Eight hostels for boys and Six for girls - You're gonna need a place to stay so hopefully there's more than enough space to accommodate you. That's a plus point. Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in a hostel. Then you'll have to mark your attendance daily in the hostel to the floor warden and be in the hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winter's timing and in summers up to 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for an explanation and maybe a call to your parents. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I'm sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PGs near the University. Now decide what's best for you. But you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to the library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied by a guard from your hostel to the library. More than 200 courses are offered to range from Diploma to PG - You are probably going to find the best course for you among these. That's for sure. Another plus point. Mandatory 75% aggregate attendance - You'll need to maintain a baseline of 75% aggregate attendance in order to be eligible to give exams. That's harsh and they won't accept any medical leaves or anything. Literally nothing they are gonna accept from you. If you fall below 75% you are not gonna be eligible for final exams until you possess a good percentage in the last term. In that case, they'll provide you with some grace. That's a good point. Also, they have mark criteria for attendance. As your attendance increase or decrease, you'll have marks ranging from 2-to 5. That's for you to decide whether it's a plus point for you or not. Placement - Yes. Students do get placed from the university and a lot of drives are conducted from various companies. No doubt most of the drives are CSE/IT-based. Companies with decent packages come in. You'll have to compete with everyone to grab the opportunity but it'll be worth it. Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports, or Academic. There are numerous events held at the University camp.
