Which college is better to pursue B.Arch among LPU and Amity University?

Saurabh, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, JJSOA, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Many workshops, conferences, seminars etc are organised for students so that they can interact with who is who of Architecture world like Raj Rewal etc. Students along with the faculty work on various live projects wherein they have worked on some sites around the university and so on. These things make LPU the first choice of both national and international students.

There are lot of College and universities which are doing good but as per my experience LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. IT has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. So, you should go for LPU and you will not regret this decision ever.

Hi Saurabh, Both the institutes are a private institute and are working splendidly in their own areas. Amity of Architecture, is beautiful campus. I visited their once, their infrastructure and beauty around will restrict to leave that place. Eligibility Criteria of Amity University is: The Candidate should have passed the (10+2 level) with subject Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories. In comparison, LPU is also consider as one of most superior school of Architecture. Being an Education Consultant I got a chance to visit there at LPU also. What a wonderful infrastructure and highly qualified faculty they have. If you take my opinion, to take admission in LPU is little difficult as compare to Amity University. Simply means, LPU is focusing to the above average students. # For satisfying the Eligibility criteria of B.Arch in LPU, either candidate must be NATA qualified having average score of 80 minimum or JEE Main paper II must be qualified along with this Candidate musthave minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade with English must be studied as a subject and a candidate should also have 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Thus, if I am not wrong, it is little difficult getting Admission in INDIA&quot;s one of the premier School of Architecture at LPU. Though, there is a 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. You have 58% marks in 12th. So, If you belong to any of these categories then you will get relaxation of 5% aggregate marks. Programme Outcome is: Comprehend design approach and inter-relationship of function, circulation, structure, material and construction, climatology, services, form, aesthetics and apply the knowledge in built environment, Interpret the facet of architectural design and urban realm context through schematic drawings, project report, physical model and 3 D visualizations, Analyze and appraise. Amity and LPU are two recognised universities in providing higher education but LPU is considered better in terms of providing better placement support. LPU offers great placement to the architecture students. It invites a lot of well-known organisations for campus recruitments. Students of previous batches have been placed at reputed organisations. They have all bagged good salary packages and have had a great start to their career. Bachelor of Architecture B.Arch is a five-year full-time undergraduate course and offered by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara and approved by COA. Architecture is the one subject that lets you challenge yourself to do better every time. It develops new perspectives and dimensions.
