Coming to the B.Com. , my friend did B.Com at LPU and now working as an Insurance Advisory in an insurance company, being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of the B.Com programme at LPU with you, In LPU students get an in-depth knowledge of banking and management courses. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for having Most Employable Students and being one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. A large number of opportunities for pursuing industry delivered certifications are available to our students. Some of the major certifications include like NCFM and NCCMP (in tie up with NSE), CMA (in tie up with IMA, USA), etc. Such certifications helps to make the students industry ready and enhance their employ-ability potential. Yes, being an existing student I can say both the university are good but I didn't know about Amity so I will recommend LPU. Well overall, LPU is much better in every aspect. Because they have much better facilities, infrastructure and their MIttal school of business is one of the most renowned business schools of India. Moreover, LPU's business school is ACBSP accredited, plus there is a special placement cell that looks out for students to work on their skills. An there are placements classes given to students. LPU has a separate dept that looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. Good track record of placement of students in companies like Amazon, Hidesign, Royal Bank of Scotland, Aon Hewitt, India Real Estate Property Site, Bestseller, Tommy Hilfiger, IBM Global, University 18, UAS-Int. , Flourish Food, Concentrix, Indigo Airlines, ICICI, Balaji Telefilms, Vardhman, Bajaj Allianz, NPCL, India Infoline, Bank of America, Duke, Winstar, Reliance Retail, Ceasefire, Outlook, JET Airways, Madhura Fashions to name a few. Hello, B.Com (Hons. ) is definitely a good choice from LPU. LPU's business school is ACBSP accredited, its a US based organisation which provides accreditation services to business school all around the world. I am having my sister in Lovely Professional University, Punjab. She searched for the University on the basis of these parameters, Ranking, Exposure, Placements, Academics, and she seems to be satisfied while doing B.Com from LPU. University has been recognised by the UGC. Ranking is also good as it has been 11th best university in terms of placement.
