Which college should I join: LPU or DIT?

Hello everyone those who are reading, Being an Education Consultant, I will be happy to help you out in this situation. Both the Universities are equally good. Lets discuss duo one by one. DIT provides a deep theoretical and practical knowledge of Micro biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry etc. That are all included in Biotechnology. Most of the Faculty is Doctorate with an experience of more than 5-7 years. Students get we nurtured because they will be provided a deep knowledge by help of PowerPoint Presentations and through Experimental work done by our own hands. Students get Research oriented knowledge as well as industrial. Now lets discuss LPU. They focus on correlation of concepts with the scientific happenings for deep rooted concept building to harness the research potential in the upcoming streams of Biotechnology. Their strength is Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. Industry and Tie ups Content delivery by industry experts Projects in collaboration with industry Internships to engage deeply in hands on real-life situations Now, the main attraction of LPU, where north Indians become my permanent clients. They provide you an opportunity to get a Degree from Abroad through international collaborations (2 year in India and 2 years abroad or 2 year in India and 1 year abroad or 1 year in India and 1 year abroad). Now it is purely your decision. That where to go. Online Admissions at LPU are already started and one can proceed further through their website. I heard they have relaxed their eligibility criteria for various programmes aiming to facilitate the candidates against COVID_19 pandemic.

LPU should be a better option for joining rather than DIT. Reasons are the best infrastructure, global exposure, hi-tech facilities, huge campus, good placements, etc. So it is highly recommended to go for LPU.

Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 7) Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but Im sure their parents would surely do. LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. 9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you Will have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy.

LPU has been the university that has outperformed most of its competition. Be it academics, sports or cultural activities, the university boasts a number of accolades to prove its credibility. This is one of the reasons that contribute to making it one of the fastest-growing universities in India. Students here are groomed to be better-skilled individuals than merely engineering students (or any subject student for that matter). The University offers more than 200 programmes in Management, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Commerce, Fashion Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Education, Physical Education, Films, Animation, Fine Arts, etc. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.

To answer your question I would give you very simple reason that makes me firmly believe in LPU as always a better university. I am an alumnae of LPU and had witnessed the overall system of education in there. The reason I say LPU is the BEST because in the process of Engineering the university also worked on my overall development. Whatever I am today is because of the training and learning I had it from there. The complete system of the university is as per the corporate model. Starting right from the conduction of classes, time management and ums, deadlines and assignment submissions, club activities, student engagement programs, hackathons and competitions. It all boosted our overall development. LPU lays focus on Research &amp; Development, Industrial Tie-Ups, Live Projects, International Exposure, Start ups, Placements and definitely overall development. Specifically in this competitive world today one needs to explore avenues in all spades. Considering these facts I found one university that strongly stands out and found pretty promising ie Lovely Professional University. Popularly known as LPU. LPU campus is a complete world in itself having more than 30000 students from 28 states of India and 3000 foreign students from more than 50 countries of the world. There is cultural diversity, mixture of emotions and this is the reason everyone tends to learn and understand each other culture and tradition prevailing in the society. Though both the colleges are good but being an alumni of LPU let me explain the things in detail. LPU is good in terms of Placements, Infrastructure, and faculty members. The campus has students all over states and 40+ countries of the world. It has 145+ programs in 55+ disciplines,150+ tie-ups with foreign universities,30k+ students, and 1400+ global and Indian super brands for placement. There are multiple facilities within the campus like university Mall, university Hospital, Food courts or kiosks, Bank ATMs, residential facilities, food facilities, and Transport facilities. The elegance and the brightness of the campus even become more lively during events, concerts, coke studio performances, One India, and One World Fests. There are multiple student organizations that give an excellent opportunity to students to hone and sharpen their skills. The University also has a robust division of career services along with faculty and staff of parent-school to provide eligible students with job opportunities. Moreover, the security team works day and night ensuring the safety of the campus residents. I hope this helps you in making your decision.

You should go with LPU as it provides the ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placements and huge infrastructure, good faculty, extra curriculum activities and cool campus environment with great facilities.
