    Hi
LPU realizes that paradigm changes are happening around the world. Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to not only understand developing economies but also develop a global perspective at the same time in order to be an integral part of the growth of the economy
A lot depends on your interest too as a candidate can give his best only from a course in which he is interested. I would suggest Diploma+ B.Tech in CSE as you will save one year and join B.Tech in the second year only. You can browse the website of LPU which gives you the details of the curriculum also of all the courses. Check the details and decide. L

It depends upon your interest. I would like to mention that BCA concentrates on applications of computers and B.Tech CS is based on intensive programming and software/hardware knowledge. Though both the programs are very well delivered in LPU. Now-a-days many students have stared pursuing B.Tech CSE because off its high demand. Students are exposed too the fields like cloud computing, IoT, data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more
Adding to the above, more than 550 companies (more than 90% being MNC's) visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Go

LPU is best for both the courses. But, doing B.Tech in CS makes your resume good, and you will get many opportunities, which you can work on it.

It completely depends upon your interest, aptitude and passion. But definitely B.Tech CSE is the most sought after and much more advanced specialisation programme than BCA. Though both the programs are very well delivered in LPU. CSE B.Tech commands much more market value in terms of recruiters and specializations. I hope you understand. All the best.

I would suggest either do BCA+MCA or B.Tech. No need to do a Diploma, that's a waste of time and money. Both options that I gave you are good, but B.Tech CS is somewhat better than other.

LPU is a good choice for both of these courses. They provide significant practical exposure to these programmes. Scope and Career Prospects of BCA IT Sector is one of the major employment providers in India and is expected to grow more in the coming years. BCA that stands for Bachelor in Computer Application, trains students in developing, programming, networking, computer and mobile software, app development, etc. Whereas, Diploma in B.Tech is done after 10th which you want to continue as lateral entry to B.Tech, which is also a good option in which you will be given brief knowledge from the very primary step. LPU's placement record is generally strong but varies by course and student performance. Top branches like CSE, IT, and some core engineering and management programs see better placements, with big companies like Microsoft, Google (via off-campus), Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys visiting over the years. A few students do get very high packages, but these are exceptions, not the norm. Many students get average packages in the range of 4–6 LPA, especially in mass-recruitment roles. Your skills, internships, projects, communication, and networking matter more than just the college name, even at LPU or any other university.

hi,

Law placements at LPU are decent and growing, but you should keep realistic expectations. Top and proactive students usually secure internships and jobs in law firms, corporate legal departments, litigation chambers, NGOs, and LPOs. The university regularly organizes moot courts, legal aid camps, internships, and interactions with advocates and judges, which help in networking. However, like most law colleges (except a few NLUs), campus placements are not guaranteed for everyone. A lot depends on your mooting, drafting skills, internships, research work, communication, and initiative. If you build a strong CV, LPU can provide platf

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
